I went to the fly in of the Pietenpol Airplanes on July 21-22, 2017. About two dozen Pietenpol aircraft were there. It was a great place to take pictures of how the other guys and gals have built their Pietenpols. They also had a “naked” Pietenpol with no fabric covering on it. That was especially helpful as I could see all the control linkage inside the fuselage.
Lots of great people there. I sat under a shade tree and visited with many folks who have built, are building, or who are thinking about building a Pietenpol. Great time.
